The SmallRig 3940 Cage is a dedicated full-body aluminium alloy rig for the Nikon Z8, designed to provide protection and accessory mounting while retaining full access to camera controls, battery door, memory cards and articulated screen.
It features an Arca-type quick-release plate built into the base, extensive ¼″-20 and 3⁄8″-16 threaded holes, ARRI-style locating holes, a NATO rail, a cold shoe mount, QD strap mount and strap lug holes.
The locking system includes a bottom ¼″-20 mounting screw, locating pin, and a side locking adapter on the right that prevents camera rotation within the cage.
